A new initiative from ALBA Alumni Association started in 2008, which aimed at bringing closer professional alumni, already working or willing to enter a specific field (i.e. marketing, finance etc) or a specific industry (tourism, pharmaceuticals etc). The objective of those events was to provide networking and career development opportunities.
The first “pilot” meeting was scheduled on May 8th, 2008, at “Cellier Le Bistrot” wine bar at Syntagma, where 23 marketing professionals participated, so as to bring forward ideas and suggestions for the further developing of this initiative. The meeting was repeated on June 19th, 2008 at “Gazarte” Bar-Restaurant at Gazi.
These networking events are expected to continue during 2011.
