With the opportunity of the international accreditation of the MSc in S-HRM program, a Networking Reception for HR alumni was organized on June 18th, 2009 at ALBA Graduate Business School premises. Professor Tsoukas presented “What Can Contemporary Managers Learn from Aristotle” and discussed with participants how Aristotle's thinking can inform managers to deal with problems in a practically wise manner. He developed the notion of Phronesis and how it may be cultivated, as well as expand on Aristotle’s thinking concerning "The principle of the mean" and his associated notion of virtues. In addition, Mr. Petros Katsampouris, CEO of Vivechrom reflected upon the above issues.
